As Overdrive Senior Editor Todd Dills wrote last year upon hanging with Mariani and the classic cabover, the truck was something of a white whale for Mariani, having worked on the rig for more than a decade before debuting it last year. Mariani stayed true to the truck’s origins, too — that of a Tennessee Highway Patrol truck — with the police-themed coloration and logos.
