I learned today that the Daytona 500 race has never been rained out before. Learned when I heard it got rained out today.
Diane and I woke up this morning in our Florida vacation house where we have been since early January. We will be back on the road soon.
The house is not far from Daytona Beach and the Daytona 500 is a big event. I’m not a race fan but it seems everyone around here is tuned into the race. We learned this bit of race history via neighborhood chatter.
I wish I had something more fun or productive to report but I don’t. I spent most of today at my desk, digging myself out of the mess I created. Actually, today was a productive day. It’s just that I am frustrated because we can’t get back on the road until certain projects are complete.
