American Central Transport company drivers now receive $100-per-day holiday pay while they are at home for Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. If a company driver is driving on any of those days, he or she will receive holiday pay in addition to the mileage pay they earn.
Also, ACT family members now may ride free, doing away with the former family rider pass fee. Also, company drivers for the Liberty, Mo.-based dry van fleet now will be paid $100-per-day layover pay.
