The 28th annual Mother’s Day Convoy, a fundraiser for the Philadelphia, Northern Delaware and Susquehanna Valley Make-A-Wish chapter, will be held Sunday, May 14, in Lancaster, Pa.The 28th annual Mother’s Day Convoy in Lancaster, Pa., is just over two weeks away. The annual event will take place on Mother’s Day – Sunday, May 14.
Last year, the convoy set a work record for the largest truck convoy. A total of 590 trucks participated. The convoy, which raises money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Philadelphia, raised more than $350,000 last year.
This year’s convoy assembles at the Burle Business Park in Lancaster, Pa., and events get started at 8:30 a.m. Plans call for the convoy to depart the business park at 1:30 p.m., travel to Ephrata, Pa., and return.
