Dsc 0499That’s the question PDI’s Support the Cause pink 2001 Peterbilt 379 asks in more ways than one — the question’s painted on to the back of the truck’s cab (see photo below), and the 379 was designed for an awareness and fundraising campaign for breast cancer research. The St. George, Utah-based company (known fully as Performance Diesel Inc.), is selling raffle tickets for the truck’s giveaway, slated for Nov. 3. Ticket prices are: $10 for one ticket, $25 for three tickets, $50 for seven tickets and $100 for 16 tickets. BackAll proceeds go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and the company says it hopes the raffle will raise about $80,000. PDI teamed up with other aftermarket shops and some OEs to transform the truck into what it is today. PDI did the engine performance work, equipping the Cummins ISX with its Big Boss kit. Jones Performance donated the hood, and Lincoln Chrome gave the truck straight pipes and new stacks. Pdi Truck4 State Trucks offered up the pink floor, and 12ga. Customs added the steps, an air ride kit and the visor. Raffle tickets are available at pdidiesel.com or by calling 800-511-1231. It’ll be on display at The Great American Trucking Show in Dallas Aug. 23-25 at the Dallas Convention Center and at PDI’s own Custom Appreciation Dyno event Nov. 2-3 at the company’s base in St. George.
