Health tip: Caffeine and fat don’t mix

Eating a fat-filled meal? Don’t follow it with coffee, soda or an energy drink. According to a study in the Journal of Nutrition, the combination of fat and caffeine spikes blood sugar levels by 65 percent. This can lead to serious health hazards for those who have metabolic syndrome or who are at risk for diabetes.
