Information to advance your business from industry suppliers

Combining his trademark ironic sensibility and keen sense of the absurd, he recounts his life, from his childhood in western Canada to his meteoric rise in film and television which made him a worldwide celebrity. Most importantly, he writes of the last ten years, during which – with the unswerving support of his wife, family and friends – he has dealt with his illness. He talks about what Parkinson’s has given him: the chance to appreciate a wonderful life and career, and the opportunity to help search for a cure and spread public awareness of the disease. He feels as if he is a very lucky man, indeed.

Linda Lael Miller

With acres of land and a house that have been in his family for generations, rancher Chance Qualtrough has deep roots in Primrose Creek. Now, at the local diner, he is about to encounter his future. Caught in a Nevada snowstorm with a broken-down truck, Hallie and her girls were forced into the cafe and what would soon be the start of a new life. Chance doesn’t know Hallie is fleeing a danger so threatening she dares not ask anyone for help. Even his kind offer of his aunt’s house as lodging seems like too great a risk for Hallie.

But Hallie has no choice but to accept Chance’s invitation. From the moment she took a chance with a handsome stranger in a country diner, everything Hallie has ever believed about home and family is seen through new eyes. But Hallie can never forget that one careless word could bring back the past and destroy all that she has made her own.
