ChampTruck heads to Virginia for second race of season

The ChampTruck World Series will descend on the Virginia International Raceway this weekend for a one-day event in conjunction with NASCAR’s K&N Pro Series East.

ChampTruck will open the day Saturday, April 30 with a practice session at 8 a.m. and qualifying at 11:15 a.m. There will be three ChampTruck races throughout the day – 12:40 p.m., 2:05 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. NASCAR will also have practice and qualifying during the day with a 56-lap race at 3:45 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased online for $10 if bought by Friday, April 29. Regular admission tickets will be $20 the day of the event. Children 16 and under get in free with a paying adult.

ChampTruck’s season one champion Mike Morgan won the first race of the season earlier this month at Palm Beach International Raceway.
