Changing Gear: Updates from Phillips, Prestone Command, Luber-finer, Donaldson

| January 29, 2014

Phillips

Phillips Industries is making its product catalog more personal – as in for personal smart devices, that is. The company has new mobile catalog apps for both Apple and Android phones and tablets. The apps also feature social media sharing, bookmarks, notes on bookmarks, links to product videos, Phillips Qwik Tech Tips articles and direct access to www.phillipsind.com. To download the free app, visit Google Play or the Apple App Store and search “Phillips Industries Catalog.”

PrestoneCommand_TestKit

It’s not often we get news from companies that are giving something away for free, so when I saw the word “free” scattered throughout some information sent to me by the good folks at Prestone Products Corp., my eyes lit up. The company has released a new white paper called “Inspection Essentials For Cold Weather Antifreeze/Coolant Maintenance In Heavy Duty Vehicles.” Prestone Command reps are at this week’s HDAW’14; visit Booth No. 727 and get your free copy of the white paper, which focuses on testing essentials for coolant concentrations (mixture of glycol, water and inhibitors) and the important part they play in winter engine management.

Luber-finer

Luber-finer is featuring its current products and its newest line of filters at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week through Thursday, Jan. 30, at the Mirage in Las Vegas. The company is highlighting its improved line of premium air filters and a new line of high-efficiency fuel filters. Luber-finer’s products and representatives are available at booth No. 727.

Donaldson Co., a manufacturer of filtration systems and parts, announced that more than 50 sizes of its Endurance air filters now are available for off-road applications. The Endurance filters are manufactured using Donaldson’s proprietary advanced Ultra-Web nanofiber technology designed to help reduce maintenance costs and increase equipment uptime.
