Alabama’s ‘Christmas in Dixie’: Song No. 7

The 1982-released country-pop track is a celebration as much of Christmas in the South as throughout the nation.

Bing Crosby’s classic version of the Irving Berlin-written “White Christmas,” according to the Guinness Book of World Records, holds the title of the top-selling single of all time. Enough said. It well deserves to be on at No. 6 in this countdown, wouldn’t you say? 

Here’s Crosby doing the song in a bit from the 1942 “Holiday Inn” flick where the song made its debut. 


“Silent Night” rings in at No. 5.
