Collector’s dream yields a ‘gold beauty’

Tony Youngblood may not seem an immediate ringer for Harrison Ford’s Indiana Jones, but make no mistake about it, in the world of Dodge Bighorns, that’s exactly who he is. Youngblood, a 52-year-old heavy-equipment company owner based in Augusta, Ga., has collected and restored so many of the handmade trucks that he earned the moniker, Mr. Bighorn, several years ago. His search for the Holy Grail has been that of the Dodge Bighorn, since it first appeared in promotional brochures in his hometown of Augusta, Ga., where he resides.

On OverdriveRetro, read about how he found the Number 1 Bighorn that appeared in Overdrive’s May 1973 issue, with gorgeous Regina Haskins posing beside it.
