Cooper Tire launched its new Roadmaster long haul drive tire at MATS.Cooper Tires at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky., launched its new Roadmaster long haul drive tire offering.
The Roadmaster RM852(EM) is available in a variety of sizes with 30/32nds of tread. Gary Schroeder, director of Cooper’s truck and bus tire business, said during a fleet test, the tire was used for 310,000 miles and still had approximately 30,000 more miles of life left.
The tire also features 3D Micro-Gauge siping, with full depth and variable sipe density to help maintain wet traction and stability.
The SmartWay verified low rolling resistance tire is backed by Cooper with a six-year warranty with two recaps. The tire is available for $329.
