Covenant Transport announced a new Owner-Operator Hazmat Team Equity Bonus that will offer an extra $10,000 per year to hazmat owner-operator teams to help replace equipment.
All owner-operator hazmat teams who run at least 35 loads per quarter will now be eligible for a $2,500 per quarter bonus payout on an ongoing basis. Lease-purchase drivers will be eligible for the bonus after their trucks are paid off.
“This is not a one-time payout,” Daniel said. “Those who qualify will continue to receive the bonus for as long as they drive for Covenant.”
