CRST breaks ground on $13 million driver training facility

CRST International started work in Jurupa Valley, Calif., on an 18.7-acre driver training and truck maintenance facility in the Agua Industrial Park near the I-10 and I-15 freeways.

The $13 million facility will be three times the size of the current CRST facility in Fontana, Calif., and will add 30 new jobs to the area, the company says.

The campus will feature 16 state-of-the-art truck and trailer maintenance bays, with capacity to service up to 100 tractors and trailers per day. Additionally, the property will feature an on-site truck wash and can accommodate 175 trailers in a secured parking lot.

The driver training section of the facility will be approximately 30,000 square feet and will include classrooms, food and entertainment venues and 30 dormitory style rooms.

CRST anticipates a January 2013 opening, it said. Visit crst.com for more information.
