CSA audit begins as data quality comes into question

InspectionThe Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Compliance, Safety, Accountability program is being audited by the Department of Transportation’s Office of Inspector General, following a request from September by the House to do so.

The OIG wants to gauge whether FMCSA has in place adequate measures to make sure that the quality of data being used to evaluate carriers is sufficient.
