CVOC panel to highlight expert advice

A panel of industry executives will give advice on thriving with change at the Commercial Vehicle Outlook Conference set for 9 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 25, preceding the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas.

Robert Low, president and founder of Prime, Inc.; Don Orr, president and CEO of Central Freight; and Russell Stubbs, president of CEO of FFE Transportation Services will discuss labor, cost and regulatory issues after James Hebe, Navistar executive vice president sales, kicks off the session. Jeff Crissey, Commercial Carrier Journal editor, will moderate.

Rounding out the agenda on Thursday, the second day of the conference, will be an update on regulatory and legislative issues affecting original equipment manufacturers, led by Rob Abbott, American Trucking Associations vice president safety policy and

Ann Wilson, Motor Equipment Manufacturers Association senior vice president government affairs.

Carrier Journal and Successful Dealer, the conference will be held Aug. 24-25, the day prior to and the opening day of the Great American Trucking Show.

Registration begins at 11 a.m., Wednesday, followed by a networking lunch.

A networking reception will be held immediately following the program on Wednesday. The conference ends at noon on Thursday when the Great American Trucking Show opens.
