Dairy Queen/Orange Julius open at Joplin 44 Petro

The Joplin 44 Petro in Joplin, Mo., has added a Dairy Queen/Orange Julius to its food court. It opened earlier this month and offers a full line of ice cream and fruit smoothie produces, as well as hot dogs and Panini sandwiches, the truck stop says.

Joplin 44’s food court also has a Taco Bell, Pizza Hut Express and Caribou Coffee.

After the truck was retired about three years ago, owner Joel Anker had it rebuilt into a show truck. The hard work paid off, with a fifth-place finish in the Limited Mileage -- Bobtail with Miles class at MATS in March.
