Florida trucker Vicki Tibbett says winning a new International truck will help her start a business with her husband.
There it was, a brand new $135,000 International 9900i at the Dancing Eagle Casino in New Mexico. Before it stood truckers Vicki Tibbett and Tom Nizlack. One of them was about to win that tractor.
Nizlack and Tibbett were the last two of 60 qualified truckers in the running for the International.
“This is worse than having a baby,” said Tibbett about waiting for the winner’s name to be drawn. Finally, Tibbett’s name was chosen. The Florida trucker says the victory will allow her to start a business with her husband.
All of the qualifiers were hosted by Dancing Eagle Casino at a dinner before the drawing, and all qualifiers present won cash prizes.
“This is our biggest giveaway ever,” says Michelle Gutierrez, Dancing Eagle Casino marketing manager.
Representatives from International Truck and ArvinMeritor were on hand for the giveaway. Dancing Eagle Casino opened in 2000 and is located on I-40 at Exit 108, Casa Blanca, N.M.
