Long-haul owner-operators at Dart Transit (No. 60 on the CCJ Top 250) will notice a boost in over-the-road contract rates beginning April 1.

The company announced it is increasing long-haul owner-operator pay by two cents per mile, starting at $1.02 per loaded mile, depending on where an owner-operator lives. Kristin Ries, communications manager for Dart, said the company also provides a fuel adjustment on top of the mileage rate.

This is Dart’s second pay increase of the year for drivers, as it boosted pay for long-haul company drivers by five cents per mile in January.
