CFI ANNOUNCES DRIVER PAY INCREASE

CFI, Joplin, Mo., will increase driver pay based on longevity. Drivers with a year’s experience will continue to receive 32 cents per mile, but those who have been with the company longer will receive pay increases at eight different levels, depending on miles driven for CFI.



AWARDS & RECOGNITION

  • CFI, Joplin, Mo., announced its August awards: Robert Maxwell, Company Driver of the Month; Ryan and Linda Goff, Company Team of the Month; Gerald Sheppard, Contract Driver of the Month; and Allan and Marian Bruton, Contract Team of the Month.

  • Atlas Van Lines, Evansville, Ind., awarded the Atlas World Class Commitment Award to 49 Atlas Van Lines agents.

  • Contech, Middletown, Ohio, awarded Mercer Transportation the Quality Carrier Special Award.

  • Sitton Motor Lines, Joplin, Mo., selected Randy Lockard Driver of the Month for May. Raymond and Vicki Price were selected as Drivers of the Month for June.

  • Werner Enterprises, Omaha, Neb., recognized eight drivers for reaching 1 million accident-free miles.

  • The Missouri Motor Carriers Association named Sitton Motor Lines driver Jackie Burks Missouri Driver of the Month for June.

  • Averitt Express, Cookeville, Tenn., named 12 members to its company-wide Best of the Best team for 2001.

  • Paschall Truck Lines, Murray, Ky., named Den Osendott Driver of the Month for July.
