Diesel price climbs again

For a second week, the national average retail price of a gallon of diesel increased. The price gained 2.9 cents to $2.861, according to the Department of Energy. 

All regions reported higher prices, ranging from 0.7 cent in New England to 4.6 cents in Central Atlantic. area for fuel. California climbed 4.3 cents to the most expensive area at $3.023 a gallon, while New England and Central Atlantic are also above $3 a gallon. The cheapest diesel is on the Gulf Coast at $2.819.
