Diesel drops 4th week in row

For the fourth week in a row, the national average retail price of a gallon of diesel fell this week, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. The price declined 3.4 cents to $2.946 in the latest week and has dropped 18.1 cents over the past four weeks.

All regions reported lower prices, led by a 4.1-cent decrease to $3.02 in the Rocky Mountain area. The Central Atlantic region remained the most expensive at $3.09, after dropping 3.1 cents. The cheapest diesel remained on the Gulf Coast at $2.899.
