It’s here: the new Partners in Business manual, bigger and better than ever. Our editors have updated or expanded content on developing a business plan, leasing a truck and choosing a carrier, as well as income replacement insurance, health insurance, taxes, personal savings, online resources and computer software and hardware. And there are other topics, too – everything from the mindset required to become an owner-operator to the details of computing cost per mile.
The manual will be given to those who attend our Partners in Business seminar, sponsored by Schneider National, at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky. It will be held 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 2. Seminar tickets will be available first-come, first-served, at the show.
The revised manual isn’t the only treat for those who participate in the seminar, presented by Overdrive’s new Partners in Business affiliate, American Truck Business Services. As always, there will be lots of detailed information of value to new or experienced owner-operators about reducing taxes, choosing the best loads, making wise equipment purchases and so on.
However, even if you’re a PIB alum, consider coming back. The ATBS program, “How To Make More Money and Keep It,” is a completely new presentation.
