THAT ’70s SHOW TRUCK

Paul Sagehorn’s 1984 Kenworth K100E is a replica of the truck made famous in the 1979-81 television series “B.J. and the Bear.” Sagehorn, of Sparta, Wis., says people often recognize his truck as he drives around the country. A photograph of his rig has been autographed by Greg Evigan, who played B.J. The truck has a Cummins 400, a 13-speed transmission, an air-ride cab and suspension and, for a modern twist, a CD player.

ROAD ‘HOG’

Terry Ramthun of Montague, Mich., gives his 1993 Kenworth W900L a lot of attention, enough to win several first-place prizes in truck shows. Ramthun’s rig, Hog Wild, is powered by a 425 Caterpillar with a 15-speed transmission. The flame-emblazoned tractor pulls a covered wagon. The truck also boasts the driver’s name in lights under the fuel tanks. This working truck hauls casting molds for a Michigan company.
