Perennial Pride & Polish competitor Mike Manuel won Best of Show in the Limited-Mileage Combo category with his 1984 Peterbilt 359 and Benson flatbed, while father and son duo Ron and Dan Brubaker won top honors in the two working truck categories, with a 1993 Peterbilt 379 and 2014 Pete 389 and Wilson livestock trailer, respectively.All four trucks are now qualified to compete in the Overdrive’s Pride & Polish National Championship next month at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas. Ashley and his truck have been on a hot streak since August 2012. The rig won Best of Show at the Great American Trucking Show Pride & Polish in Dallas that year, qualifying him for the 2013 Overdrive’s Pride & Polish National Championship judging round, where it won the Trucker’s Choice National Championship.
He’s also picked up several other Pride & Polish awards along the way and was named Best of Show, first runner-up at this year’s Shell Rotella SuperRigs competition.
Manuel won Best of Show with his ‘84 Pete and matching flatbed in last year’s 75 Chrome Shop Pride & Polish show, along with other awards in other Pride & Polish events.
