Fitzgerald raising money for St. Jude’s with glider kit sale

St. Jude truck 22Fitzgerald Glider Kits will be selling a specially built Peterbilt 389 with the full sales price of the truck going to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. 

The truck will be on display at the Mid-America Trucking Show later this month in Louisville, Ky., and Fitzgerald will be accepting purchase price requests there and via telephone leading up to and during the show.

Fitzgerald will sell the truck to the person or fleet with the highest asking price.

The truck is a 2015-model glider equipped with a Detroit Diesel 60 Series pre-emissions engine and a factory refurbished Eaton Fuller transmission. 

It has a white base with red St. Jude’s logos. Joining Fitzgerald in the sponsorship is Peterbilt, Rush Truck Centers, DynaFlex and Chrome Country.
