Transport America Inc. volunteered drivers and tractor-trailers for a June 12-13 bicycle race that Minnesota’s National Multiple Sclerosis Society chapter hosts annually.
Having helped with the fundraiser for 16 years, the Eagan, Minn.-based fleet supplied 19 rigs for this year’s race, in which more than 3,000 riders competed. Two owner-operators and 14 company drivers transported bikes and supplies from the state’s White Bear Lake to the race’s start in Proctor, Minn., a Transport America spokesman said in a written statement.
