- Jerry Kissinger’s “Freedom”-themed 1991 Mack Superliner (pictured) and 2006 Great Dane refrigerated trailer took home Best of Show in Working Combo. Kissinger is an independent owner-operator from Stoughton, Wis. John Silva of Chowchilla, Calif., won Best of Show in Limited Mileage Combo with his 2000 Peterbilt 379 and 1975 Utility flatbed.
Nearly 30 truck owners placed their bets in Las Vegas at the Custom Rigs Pride & Polish, held during the Great West Truck Show in early June. The four Best of Show winners were invited to the Pride & Polish National Championship finals, set for Aug. 25-27 at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas.

Yamko Truck Lines’ 2009 Peterbilt 389 (pictured), shown by Armando Burguan of Long Beach, Calif., won Best of Show in Working Bobtail. In the Limited Mileage classes, Isaac Aguilar of Sandvik Trucking, based in Valley Center, Calif., won Best of Show in Limited Mileage Bobtail with his 1992 Peterbilt 379.
