Eastbound I-10 near Phoenix to be restricted

Eastbound Interstate 10 south of Phoenix will be narrowed to one lane between Chandler Boulevard and the Loop 202 interchange from 10 p.m. Nov. 19 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21, for work associated with construction of a new elevated bridge to connect HOV lanes.

Alternate routes include southbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) to westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway), eastbound Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) from I-17 in north Phoenix, eastbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) and eastbound U.S. 60 (Superstition Freeway) to reach southbound Price Freeway, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.

By early next year, I-10 traffic between Chandler and Wild Horse Pass boulevards will temporarily share the eastbound side of the freeway.
