Construction work is set to begin Sept. 12 on I-80 from west of the Aurora I-80 interchange to 5.5 miles east that will last about a year, according to the Nebraska Department of Roads.
Concrete pavement repair will be done this year and bridge, milling and asphalt work is scheduled for next year, with completion scheduled by late summer 2012. Lane closures are planned for the entire project.
