Our son just celebrated his fifth year with us at Finish Line Towing. He started off like everyone else in a small tow truck and has worked his way up through the ranks to a driver supervisor and the operator of the “Can’t Touch This” pictured above which is the largest tow truck in Northern CA. At only 24 years old “Hammer” as he has been called since he was little operates the FLTOW #29, 80-ton sliding Rotator tandem steer Kenworth T800 extended cab with a Cummins ISX 600 HP Engine, 18-speed transmission, and locking rears mounted with an NRC 60/80 H.I.M. Double with five winches including a 35,000 lb. drag winch. Hammer is such a hard worker, always shows up for his shift, even when he is sick. He is very knowledgeable in his field and is eager to share and teach what he knows. As a heavy duty recovery specialist, his first priority is always safety, to the public, for his drivers and for his equipment. He has never had a speeding ticket or moving violation since receiving his drivers license at the young age of 16, a rarity these days. I would like to nominate my son Dino “Hammer” Tomassi Jr. for the amazing job he does for our company. He deserves to be recognized.
