iLuvMyTrucker: Joe Rodriguez

Updated Sep 4, 2013

JoeRodriguezI love my trucker husband, Joey. He has loved trucks all of his life. Trucking is in Joey’s blood. As a child he would build truck models, putting them together and taking them apart. At 13, he started repairing and driving dump trucks. He worked as an employee for many years. The he started his trucking business in 2001. In 2004, he decided to drive his own truck. For the first few years he was able to run Florida, but the economy declined so much it forced him to go over the road. He has worked very hard to keep things running. He may be gone 1 and 1/2 to 2 weeks at a time. He has sacrificed so much of his time away from home. He is a great husband and provider. Family comes first, but he must keep trucking to provide for his “girls.”
