The magnets in both the head and tail end of the flashlight permit the recovery of magnetic objects weighing up to 8 pounds.
Three bright LED lights on a rotating head help provide increased visibility for the tool, which is extendable from 6.75 inches to more than 21 inches for better reach. The tool is constructed of rugged aluminum and includes a stainless-steel belt clip.
