TELL ME AGAIN WHY THIS IS SO FUNNY

A trucker on U.S. 30 in Indiana at first thought water puddles were causing the slight jerks he felt. When he saw headlights in his mirror, he pulled over and discovered a four-wheeler continuing to ram his truck, reported the South Bend Tribune. Even when police arrived, suspect Bryant Bowdry was plowing into the truck, spinning his wheels.

Bowdry broke into laughter when an officer approached. He continued to laugh while refusing orders to get out of his vehicle, even as a police dog attacked him, finally dragging him out.

“Rather bizarre,” commented LaPorte County police spokesman Maj. Gary Broling. Hospital officials said the 18-year-old suspect, who was arrested, was under the influence of drugs, the newspaper reported.


IT’S TOUGH BEING A TRENDSETTER

Trucker caps have been the rage among style-chasers for more than a year. Now, according to USA Today, the trend has broadened. Among the looks defining the coolest of the cool are chain wallets, huge belt buckles, vintage T-shirts, snap-button Western shirts and ripped-off sleeves.

“This whole crazy trend includes shirts that look like they were dug out of the thrift store bins,” Stan Williamson, fashion director at men’s magazine Maxim, told the newspaper. “You don’t want to look like you care too much.”
