Lakeville orders 165 International ProStar+ trucks

Less-than-truckload carrier Lakeville Motor Express announced Dec. 16 purchase of a new fleet of 165 International ProStar+ trucks.

Chairman Shari Taylor Wilsey and Roger Wilsey Sr., CEO, recently assumed ownership of LME. The carrier was named Commercial Carrier Journal’s Innovator of the Year in 2010 for establishing TRNET, an alliance of carriers providing 100 percent coverage of the United States, Canada and Mexico. The company is also a Top 100 Motor Carrier as ranked by Inbound Logistics magazine in 2010.
