Last week in Monterey County, Calif., enthusiasts and wealthy buyers flocked to the area for Classic Car Week events, and among the out-of-state revelers were the truckers who brought various collectors’ items to the event. Monterey County Herald reporter Laith Agha took the occasion to write an appreciative story about a few them, a group of longtime enclosed-car haulers who’ve combined forces to form the Independent Network of Automobile Shippers, as Agha described them “seven truckers who recently broke away from the major car transportation companies to form the trucker co-op.” Follow the story link above for Agha’s excellent piece — and some Herald photos of rad rides being loaded onto even radder rigs.

As for the owner-operators involved in TINAS, as the group is known, primary TINAS contact Tina Bassett has only this to say: “We have passion in what we do…. My guys have years of car hauling experience. I have the best of the best.”
