Mich. I-94, I-69 interchange closure

The Michigan Department of Transportation announced that, starting tonight, the I-94/I-69 interchange in St. Clair County would close for three nights straight for bridge beam replacement.View location.

Timing of the closures is as follows.

**8 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday
**10 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday
**10 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday

I-94 detours:
West I-94 traffic detours to west I-69 to Wadhams Rd. (exit 196) to east I-69 to west I-94. East I-94 traffic detours to east I-69 Business Loop (exit 271) then east to the I-94 Business Loop back to I-94/I-69

I-69 detours:
East I-69 traffic detours to east I-69 Business Loop (exit 199) to east I-94 Business Loop to I-94/I-69 Business Loop/Pine Grove into downtown Port Huron. West I-69 traffic is unaffected by the closure.

MDOT likewise announced that in Wayne County, I-75N from Schaefer Highway to Springwells will have the left lane closed from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday for freeway lighting work.

And in Oakland County, the I-75S ramp to Adams Road will be closed from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

In Flint, westbound I-69 from east of I-475 to Saginaw Street will have only one lane open from 7 a.m.-10 a.m. Saturday for bridge maintenance work.
