Time Well Wasted – Brad Paisley
Five-time CMA Award-winning chart-topper Brad Paisley follows the double platinum success of 2003’s acclaimed Mud on the Tires with his fourth Arista Nashville collection, Time Well Wasted.

Paisley has emerged as one of country music’s most popular and respected young talents, earning critical acclaim on disc and in concert, both of which showcase his topflight guitar work, as well as a keen sense of songwriting and a performance style infused with Paisley’s musical blend of heart and humor. This album reunites Paisley with producer Frank Rogers for a 16-track collection sporting 10 cuts from Paisley’s pen, including “Alcohol.” Time Well Wasted’s guest stars include Dolly Parton (“When I Get Where I’m Going”) and Alan Jackson (“Out in the Parkin’ Lot”). Three Chord Country and American Rock & Roll – Keith Anderson
With the hit single “Pickin’ Wildflowers” grooving its way up the chart, Oklahoma native Keith Anderson makes quite a noise with this debut. The album, produced by Big & Rich’s John Rich, is heavy on boogie tunes like “XXL,” which celebrates those with larger frames.

The gem “Podunk” flawlessly evokes the love-hate relationships many have with their small hometowns. Anderson’s gospel side shines on “The Clothes Don’t Make the Man,” a prison tune celebrating Christ. Two of the other 11 tracks worth spinning include “Stick It” and “Plan B.” An impressive debut! B+

Fireflies – Faith Hill
Fireflies is Faith Hill’s sixth studio album but her first in three years. The Star, Miss. native’s leadoff single is a self-reflection, “Mississippi Girl,” which was co-written by Big & Rich’s John Rich.

This album finds co-producer Hill teamed with longtime production collaborators Byron Gallimore and Dann Huff on 15 tracks, including “Like We Never Loved at All,” the opener “Sunshine & Summertime,” “Good Ole USA” and “Stealing Kisses.” Hubby Tim McGraw guests on one of the album’s tracks. Also included is a cover of “I’m Not Lisa,” a big hit in 1975 for Waylon Jennings’ widow, Jessi Colter. This CD is a distinctive, welcome return to the Magnolia beauty’s country roots. A
