Carriers interested in signing up for the program can pre-subscribe for free with no obligation to pay the $70 a year fee, the company says. After filling out a form, FetchDesk will create a credentials file for shippers and brokers to use. Once booked by a shipper or broker, the carrier will be able to view the credit application for approval or demand payment upon delivery. Each shipper and broker is credit approved by FetchDesk.

Once the system launches later this year, pre-subscribed users will be sent an account code that will allow them to post upcoming empty trucks up to eight days in advance by using their phone. Carriers don’t search for loads – they are contacted by shippers and brokers – and are paid 100 percent of the invoice price, the company says,
