New load board hopes to facilitate O/O-shipper connections

| July 05, 2011

Owner-operators have to realize that they are losing big-time, and the profit stops in the middle. They have to make a decision to stick together and demand respect and the compensation and fuel surcharge they deserve. They have to close up all money draining holes like advance fees, quick pay fees, lumper fee which they are sometimes forced to pay, factoring fees, etc. They have to get an understanding of what is profit and realize that they are running a business, not a charity, and even charities need to break even. They are being taken advantage of and it must stop. They have to demand a better standard of pay and that they get what the shipper actually offers them and not what’s left after fake brokers are paid. They have to keep copies of all invoices, bills of lading, fuel charges, etc., and make sure their business and accounts are kept strictly for that purpose. Sticking together with one voice can change the path they are traveling now. Who is willing to take a stand today?

Every bit off this letter is a painful truth. If we truckers and business owners will stick together, the situation in our industry will change. And every shipper that will put money back in people and services that we as truckers offer, there going to be a huge effect across the board…They will get the real trucks to haul they freight and trucking company will get a real reword for the job we do day after day and mile after mile. For the NBF – please keep the scamers away, get some kind off credit reporting services on shippers, as they can check our records almost instantly. These marektplace you creating has to be kept clear and free of obsticales, so it wuold outgrow the old brokering model for shure.
    Best wishes, sergey yevtukh.

Thanks for the feedback, Sergey. If you see any success using the board or make plans to join, definitely let me know. I’m interested to see NBF’s progress, for sure, from OOs’ point of view.

This is a lie. The customers will pay less on the board. I saw a preview and all the loads looked just like the ones on the load boards that have agents. So dont be fooled. NFB is counting on smaller companies. Smaller companies will be robbed.

My husband is an owner opperator and has been working off of CHRobbinson load board. There has to be something better out there. I have to work two jobs just to pay our household bills. If anyone knows of a better way to make money,Please contact me at b.stilson@comcast.net. I am really tired of being broke and working 80 hours a week.

No broker freight is loaded with brokers. Called about two different loads and they were both brokers I have used before. When I called NBF to complain, the customer service rep hung up on me. NO BROKER FREIGHT is a scam!!!
