Western Star’s Stratosphere sleeper line now includes 40- and 54-inch models as well as an 82-inch Ultra High model with the largest interior volume in the industry.
The new 40-inch sleeper, which holds a 31-inch bunk, is ideal for vocational uses such as specialized hauling, construction and logging and can be configured with up to four windows to aid backing. The new 54-inch sleeper is designed for heavy and regional hauling, as well as construction applications.
The new 82-inch Ultra High is 13.8 inches higher than the original 82-inch Stratosphere with more than 30 cubic feet of additional living and storage space. The added space allows for a fixed upper bunk compatible with a dinette seating option.
The line is available on the 4900 EX, 4900 SA and 4900 FA models.

TIRE REGENERATES TREAD AS IT WEARS
The Michelin XDA Hypersipe is the first retread drive tire that regenerates tread features as the tire wears. Sipes molded into the bottom of the pre-cure tread band appear at approximately half-tread depth and provide traction down to the last 32nd of tread. TIRE INFLATION SYSTEM
This mobile nitrogen inflation system makes roadside tire inflation faster, with rates up to 12 cubic feet per minute, and requires no operator attention.
