Hendrickson added top-mount tridem and low-ride tandem configurations to its family of trailer slider systems. The triple-axle tridem has an overall capacity of 52,000 pounds with axle ratings of 23,000 pounds or heavier-duty 25,000 pounds in ride heights ranging from 14 to 19 inches. The low-ride tandem offers ride heights from 61/2 to 12 inches in a 46,000-pound capacity system.

AXLES HAVE BROAD RATIO COVERAGE
The new Dana Spicer S170 series of single-reduction, single-drive, heavy-duty axles features the industry’s broadest axle ratio coverage, as well as high-capacity gearing and bearing systems to meet the requirements of higher horsepower and higher torque engines. The axles are designed to perform in future vehicles with drivetrain ratings of up to 2,450 feet-pounds of torque and up to 700 hp.

NEW SERIES TARGETS URBAN APPLICATIONS
International Truck and Engine Corp.’s new low-cab-forward truck is designed for uses such as pickup and delivery, leasing and construction. As the first two models in the CF Series, the CF 500 model targets the Class 4 market, while the CF 600 model aims at the Class 5 market.
Each CF model is powered by the new International VT 275 diesel engine, a 4.5 liter V6 design that delivers peak ratings of 200 hp at 3,000 rpm, and 440 pounds-feet of torque at 1,850 rpm.
The CF Series is built on a high-strength, low-alloy steel frame with 34-inch-wide frame rails, taper-leaf front suspension, and standard front and rear shock absorbers.
Production of the CF Series will begin in January.

ENHANCED T300
Kenworth has added a heavier front-axle option (14,600 pounds) to go along with an available 30,000-pound rear axle (for single-axle applications) on its 2005 Model T300. Also, frame inserts and corner windows are now offered. Other exterior enhancements include an optional one-piece stainless steel-clad aluminum bumper with fog lights, complex reflector headlamps that are standard and provide better than a 50 percent increase in illumination, and a wire mesh grille with a polished stainless grille trim.

FLATBED DUNNAGE BOXES
