Vinnie Diorio’s 2013 Peterbilt 389, which won the 2013 Pride & Polish National Championship in the Limited-Mileage Combo category, was on display at the Mid-America Trucking Show this week.     This is not a 2013 389 unless Vinnie had old mirrors and 379 headlights installed. it does have what appears to be a 389 grill horn.
    maybe they did but why?

    What you really should have noticed was the Dashboard. The Mirrors and headlight are custom.
    He spent a lot of money and effort.

    You mean the retro fit 379 dash? yeah i knew about it and the head light buckets are mass produced retro lights many trucks have them installed.(google 1987 peterbilt 359 headlight buckets) see for your self as for the dash,why a 2000 79 why? door mount mirrors are terrible peterbilt has recalled thousands of trucks because the mirrors caused paint blisters and decay of the alloy and cracking. not to mention the rattle factor.
