Ray Rodriquez is back at the Great West Truck Show Pride & Polish this year with his 1988 Peterbilt 379, which he’s dubbed The Hardway.

Below is a video of him discussing the new paint job on his engine and frame and and a few other aspects of the award-winning rig, along with a few photos of the updated work:

After the truck was retired about three years ago, owner Joel Anker had it rebuilt into a show truck. The hard work paid off, with a fifth-place finish in the Limited Mileage -- Bobtail with Miles class at MATS in March.
