Shell Rotella SuperRigs, the annual working show truck beauty contest, is being held June 9-11 in Joplin, Mo.
Competing and staged at the event are some of the country’s top working show trucks, shown by owner-operators and small fleet owners from around the U.S. vying for the event’s $10,000 top prize and the 12 coveted spots in the annual Shell Rotella SuperRigs calendar.
Below are some of the trucks on display and competing in the SuperRigs competition.
Joel Dawes’ 1988 Peterbilt 379, on display at SuperRigs, has won several Overdrive’s Pride & Polish Best of Shows in recent years.
David Foster’s 2005 Kenworth W900
Lanita Transport’s 2015 Kenworth W900L and Mac trailer. The combo is featured in the 2016 Shell Rotella SuperRigs calendar.
JTC Transport owner and operator Chad Sand built this 2016 Peterbilt 389 in house. Sand’s 15-truck JTC Transport, based in St. Cloud, Minn., hauls scrap iron and coils regionally.
