Prize-Winning Pictures from the Road

Grand Prize winner: Life on the Road
Renee Taylor of Warren, Ark., “Wrench, Please!”

Owner-operator Renee Taylor carries her digital camera everywhere snapping pictures.

Taylor’s interest in photography has paid off with a grand prize win in the Super 8/Truckers News “What have you seen along the way?” photo contest. Her photo of her 4-year-old son Lee helping his dad work on their tractor’s generator won in the Life on the Road category.

“He always helps Dad out whether we’re home or out on the road,” Taylor says. “If Mark gets his tool box out, Lee gets his little uniform shirt on and is right behind him.”

Taylor, who co-owns trucking company Uglypuppy Exploration with her husband, won two tickets to the Pop Secret Microwave Popcorn 400 to be held on Nov. 9 at the North Carolina Speedway. The three runners-up each received a free night stay at a Super 8 motel.

Runners-up:
