A federal bankruptcy judge in Indiana on Wednesday ordered R.L. Carter Trucking to cease operations and into Chapter 7 liquidation.

Transportation Alliance Bank of Ogden, Utah, set up a hotline for Carter drivers to call to arrange to fuel up to make deliveries and return to their base in Clayton, Ind., according to news reports. The bank had been the carrier’s lender during its filing for Chapter 11 protection last year.

Carter had been a transporter of petroleum, chemicals and dry bulk for more than 20 years, according to its website.
