Experienced teams hired before Sept. 30 can sign on with a $10,000 bonus, Schneider National Inc. announced. The sign-on offered by the carrier based in Green Bay, Wis., is $5,000 per team driver.
Schneider team drivers can earn 6 cents per mile more than solo drivers, have priority dispatch and have 99 percent no-touch freight, said Schneider National Vice President Mike Hinz.
Although ineligible for the sign-on bonus, solo drivers seeking to team drive can receive help from Schneider to find a match, said company spokeswoman Janet Bonkowski.
