Seeing red: Mike Lemley’s Cathouse

| September 02, 2014

A bright red sports car, goes the stereotype, is what men in mid-life crisis hanker for. Mike Lemley of Mustang, Okla., dwarfs that dream with his stunning Cathouse.

This 2000 Peterbilt 379 was one of the boldest trucks at the recent Pride & Polish show in Dallas. The all-red (even the grille) Pete won Best of Show in Working Bobtail at the Great American Trucking Show.

The truck also won First Place in the Custom Paint and Working Bobtail (2000 and older) category. Beatty Body Works of Oklahoma City, Okla., did the viper red paint job.

The LED headlights can be set to rotate through colors. “They’re on a 27-color wheel, multi-change,” says Mike Lemley.

Nice truck, inside looks better than the outside. Outside is just a Red Truck, need to dump the weird shifter but the rest of it is COOoooooL.

Just to let you haters out there know, this truck belongs to one of my best friends and this IS a work truck! He pulls a gas tanker! He works his ass of and every penny in his pocket is made honestly! He owns this truck out right plus another! He’s driven and successful in providing for his family and showing his passion for his truck and job! Oh and by the way, if you want to talk negative about him I’m pretty sure you’re too chicken shit to say anything negative to his face! He’s not a lazy fat ass truck driver he’s 6’5″ 230 and is built like a brick shithouse! And I will stand by his side till the day I’m 6 feet deep!
