The chatbot, called Trucker Path Bro, works by responding to a driver’s location-based text message to provide the latest updates on nearby parking availability, weigh station and other facilities. To use the new feature, drivers can go into the Facebook app or the Facebook Messenger app and search “Trucker Path Bro,” then choose to send a message to find nearby parking and scales information.
Trucker Path Pro uses crowdsourcing technology to capture real-time information on truck parking availability from its user community. The app provides information on truck parking availability at more than 27,000 locations along the National Highway System.
